Pete Marris
Pete is a full-time emergency medical services (EMS) rescue helicopter pilot for LifeFlight Australia. He has previous experience as a RAAF Qualified Flying Instructor on CT4A and HS748 aircraft, as well as UH-1H ‘Huey’ helicopters and Gunships before they transferred to the Army. Pete has worked for Lifeflight at the Bundaberg base since February 1998, and currently flies the AW139, Bell 412EP and BK117 in a single pilot IFR NVG rescue helicopter role.
